April has brought several great milestones in my life…..
First and foremost, April 20th will mark my one year anniversary on Days of Our Lives, and what a great year it has been. This show has greatly changed my life in so many different ways. As a result, I am living here in Los Angeles (which I am loving), has brought new friends, and has given me the chance to live my dream of being a actress. I love my job and feel like I am living the American dream. I thank God everyday for blessing me with this immense opportunity in my life. I am relishing every minute of it because I know it call all end in a second. Over the past 4 years, I have went from your average everyday run of the mill teenage girl from Louisiana to people recognizing me in public. Thank you all for making this past year on the cast of Days one of the best ever…. Without you all, I would be nothing.
On different subject, I have a new love in my life. As I have shared in several past blogs, in December I broke up with my boyfriend of 3 ½ years. Even though the split was amiable, it has been a tough past 5 months in my life. But as in ever situation the is a calm in the storm and I am happy to say that I have a new man in my life who has made me very happy over the past 3 weeks that we have been dating. We are not rushing into anything, just taking baby steps. We are both fresh out of long-term relationships so it is nice to have someone there to talk to who knows what you are going through. Everything is going wonderful and I am looking forward to exploring this relationship more. He makes me smile, laugh and most importantly he just simply makes me happy….. and for right now that is all I am looking for. I will keep you all updated on this front.
I also traveled to Vegas for the Miss USA pageant last weekend. Everyone has a great time and I am so happy for the new Miss USA, Crystle Stewart, Miss Texas. All the ladies looked beautiful and represented their states wonderfully. It was great seeing everyone there.
That is it for now, I hope you all have a fabulous evening and I will write again soon!
